A gem in Alnmouth
Just returned from a long weekend at St Valery Boutique B&B in Alnmouth. I have travelled extensively in Europe and USA and can state without a doubt that this is amongst the best places I have stayed The rooms are comparable with any 5 star hotel . But the stars of the show is Harvey the proprietor and his dog Roxy, no request was too much trouble for Harvey to help with. We will definitely return and return. Kelvin

Fantastic B&B and host.
Well what a fantastic b&b this is in alnmouth . The owner Harvey and his beautiful little dog Roxy are so warm and welcoming , great relaxing big rooms with comfy beds and a great modern shower room with roll top bath in room . Stayed here for 4 nights for our honeymoon and couldn't have been better. Lovely breakfasts every morning . Roxy is adorable , could of taken her home š. Thanks Harvey we will be back one day when we stay in the north east.

Amazing luxurious stay.
We have just spent 7 nights at St Valery. If you want a luxurious stay with a breakfast cooked freshly to set you up for the day this is the place for you. The beds and linen are so comfortable you are guaranteed a restful nights sleep in your large room. Harvey has put his heart and soul into this lovely property and welcomes you warmly. Thank you also to Roxy his friendly dog. We will definitely return.

Exceptional B&B in beautiful location
Our first visit to St Valery, but it won't be our last. We were made to feel so welcome the minute we walked through the door. Harvey is an exceptional host, nothing was too much trouble, and he was a pleasure to get to know. Our Dachshund was also made very welcome. The room was immaculate and very welcoming and extremely comfortable. The addition of Elemis products in the bathroom was a lovely touch and very much enjoyed. Breakfasts were delicious with everything cooked to order. We cannot speak highly enough of this very special Bed and Breakfast... Thank you Harvey for making our stay so enjoyable.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay
Excellent reviews means that expectations are high, but this small b&b deserves its reputation for quality. Harvey (and Roxie) are unbelievably welcoming and friendly, beds are comfortable, breakfast was absolutely excellent (check out those marmitey mushrooms) and there's just the right attention to detail and the small things that elevate a stay from good to great. Sunny weather helped and we loved Alnmouth and its sorroundings. Thank you Harvey.

Romantic stay in a wonderful B & B!!
Harvey was a fantastic host, very warm and welcoming and the little touches he provided, both in the room and with his actions were really appreciative. The room (St Benedict) was a lovely, luxuriously decorated room. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely bedding. Breakfasts were homecooked and delicious, with a lovely menu selection that included quality ingredients.

A āhome from homeā boutique B&B delight - highly recommended!
Weāve spent 4 nights at St Valery and itās been a delight from start to finish. Harvey hosts impeccably, creating a super-relaxed āhome from homeā vibe. We loved our St Cuthbert room, with its three windows letting in all the sunlight, its super-comfortable sleigh bed, in room tub š , and quiet sleeping. Alnmouth is very quiet at night, so sleeping with the windows wide is easy. The Elemis toiletries are a very welcome spoiling touch, as is the bottled water and amply supplied tea/coffee tray. Harvey cooks a delicious breakfast, beautifully presented, which will set you up for your day.

What a fabulous find!
My partner and I just had a wonderful two night stay at St Valery Boutique B&B in the St Cuthbert room. Having read the reviews before booking we were expecting something good and we weren't disappointed. The property is nicely decorated throughout but it's the attention to detail that really make this place feel luxurious. The bed is honestly one of the most comfortable I've slept in - I left there feeling completely rested and determined to upgrade my bedding..... The breakfast was excellent - cooked to order using fresh local produce. Harvey is a fabulous host - friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive and queen Roxy makes sure all is as it should be. I really can't recommend this place highly enough and we'll definitely be paying another visit.

Boutique Critique ? ... Fantastique !
Our first trip to Alnmouth, somewhere that I've been meaning to visit for over 30 years. This was a kind of "sighter" visit for the Northumbrian coast, to work out what's what, where to go, and (most important) how to get there. And now we know where to stay. Right from the beginning, Harvey and Roxy (the dog) gave us a warm welcome, and we felt like we'd made 2 new friends. Our Room on the first floor was huge, with a view out across town to the beach, and a lovely stand-alone bath in the corner. There are only 3 guest rooms, so you all have a lot of space, including access to a garden terrace at the rear which was so peaceful and relaxing in the evening. Breakfast was really good - locally sourced meats, vegetarian options, fresh fruit and juices. Harvey was a font of local knowledge, and what we couldn't work out for ourselves, he happily filled in the gaps. Easy decision to go back there next time!

Excellent stay in Alnmouth
Harvey and his sweet puppy Roxy run an absolutely fabulous B&B in Alnmouth. We received a very warm welcome with much appreciated recommendations for dinner. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and scrupulously clean and tidy. We had the full tub room which was great for my wife, but others have fireplaces. The breakfast was wonderful, varied and freshly made by Harvey. Highly recommended if you are visiting the beach or nearly Alnwick castle.
